All New Updates to Sellers, Teams, & Live Display Promotion
With the fall fundraising season around the corner, our team at Raffle Rocket wanted to push out an update to make the promotion of raffles easier than ever. With this latest release, we’ve expanded on the existing Sellers functionality and created all-new Live Display screens to promote raffle prizes!
We’ll go into detail on all of the changes below:
New Functionality to Sellers
Originally, we only allowed admins to add individual sellers to their raffle. Now, in addition to adding your sellers, you can optionally group them into teams! If you decide to create one or more teams for your raffle, purchasers will be able to select the team and seller they would like to support during checkout.
As always, the sales made in support of a seller will be attributed to that seller which can be tracked from your dashboard. Additionally, you’ll have complete visibility over the sales made by team, allowing for organizations to introduce some friendly competition among one another.
One of the biggest quality-of-life changes we made for admins this time around is the ability to import your sellers! Gone are the days where you need to manually add each seller one by one. Within your raffle dashboard, download our template .CSV file, fill in your seller details, including optional team names, and then import everything in one go.
And finally, with the introduction of importing your sellers, we adjusted how your sellers are notified once added. Before, a seller would be notified as soon as they were added to your raffle. Now, admins have complete control over when that email notification gets sent!
Introducing Live Raffle Displays
The other major change to Raffle Rocket is the addition of Live Raffle Displays. For those admins who want a way to promote their raffle on big screens around a venue, you’re in luck! Every raffle will have access to its own Live Raffle Display URL which will promote your raffle prize(s) and include a QR code to your raffle’s landing page.
The Live Display is best suited for promoting 50/50 raffles as the jackpot updates every 30-seconds, making it quick and easy for everyone to track at a glance. Even if you aren’t running a 50/50, you can use the Live Display to promote your cash or non-cash prizes as well, making this a feature any fundraiser can take advantage of!
See the examples below on what the Live Display looks like for each prize type (50/50, non-cash, cash).
