All New Updates to Sellers, Teams, & Live Display Promotion
With the fall fundraising season around the corner, our team at Raffle Rocket wanted to push out an update to make the promotion of raffles easier than ever. With this latest release, we’ve expanded on the existing Sellers functionality, made improvements to the analytics shown per raffle, and created all-new Live Display screens to promote prizes!
We’ll go into detail on everything down below. As well, we are also hosting a 45-minute webinar on September 4th, at 11am MDT to walk through all of these changes live. If you’re interested, click here to secure your spot!
New Functionality to Sellers
Originally, we only allowed admins to add individual sellers to their raffle. Now, in addition to adding your sellers, you can optionally group them into teams! If you decide to create one or more teams for your raffle, purchasers will be able to select the team and seller they would like to support during checkout.
As always, the sales made in support of a seller will be attributed to that seller which can be tracked from your dashboard. In the event where a purchaser chooses the wrong seller to support during checkout, you can now reassign sales to another seller from the dashboard! Additionally, you’ll have complete visibility over the sales made by team, allowing for organizations to introduce some friendly competition among teams and individuals.
One of the biggest quality-of-life changes we made for admins this time around is the ability to import your sellers! Gone are the days where you need to manually add each seller one by one. Within your raffle dashboard, download our template .CSV file, fill in your seller details, including optional team names, and then import everything in one go.
And finally, with the introduction of importing your sellers, we adjusted how your sellers are notified once added. Before, a seller would be notified as soon as they were added to your raffle. Now, admins have complete control over when that email notification gets sent!
More Analytics at Your Fingertips
Keeping a pulse on a raffle’s performance is critical for many organizations, so we’ve improved the Overview tab within the raffle dashboard. Building off what already exists, you can now see the following analytics at a glance:
- Number of Customers
- Tickets Sold
- Total Ticket Sales
- Platform Fees Collected
- Stripe Fees Collected
- Net Raised
Introducing Live Raffle Displays
The other major change to Raffle Rocket is the addition of Live Raffle Displays. For those admins who want a way to promote their raffle on big screens around a venue, you’re in luck! Every raffle will have access to its own Live Raffle Display URL which will promote your raffle prize(s) and include a QR code to your raffle’s landing page.
The Live Display is best suited for promoting 50/50 raffles as the jackpot updates every 30-seconds, making it quick and easy for everyone to track at a glance. Even if you aren’t running a 50/50, you can use the Live Display to promote your cash or non-cash prizes as well, making this a feature any fundraiser can take advantage of!
See the examples below on what the Live Display looks like for each prize type (50/50, non-cash, cash).
Additional Quality of Life Improvements
In addition to the major changes above, our team also made slight adjustments in a few areas to improve the lives of administrators and purchasers. See below for a quick overview:
- Past supporters can more easily opt out of receiving email invites to future raffles if they wish.
- Custom raffle links generated by the system are shorter and cleaner looking by default, while still allowing full customization if desired.
- To accommodate for the new teams functionality mentioned above, the old Build A Team section has become its own menu item and been renamed to Sellers & Teams.
